The Kome Egwerome Foundation Inc. (KEF) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring innovation and creating jobs through entrepreneurship. We implement program strategies designed to address the unique needs of entrepreneurs. We support entrepreneurs with practical expertise, hands-on workshops, mentorship, and essential resources to turn innovative ideas into successful businesses and confidently navigate early-stage challenges. This is our purpose and how we define our role in improving the world.
Founder’s Note
Entrepreneurs are at the heart of sustainable economic development. They are the creators, problem-solvers, and future employers the world needs. With over 15 years in the finance sector and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) speciality in entrepreneurship, I have seen how the right support can turn potential into progress.
We founded the Kome Egwerome Foundation Inc. (KEF) to provide entrepreneurs the tools and platforms they need to succeed. From entrepreneur development workshops and mentorship programs to innovation hubs and challenge initiatives, our mission is simple: to inspire innovation, create opportunities, and advance economic development through entrepreneurship.

The KEF Inspire – Entrepreneur Development Training and Workshop is a high-impact 2-month program that empowers entrepreneurs with the critical skills to launch and sustain their business. Through targeted modules ranging from entrepreneurship development, finance, sales & marketing to digital learning and effective pitching, participants gain practical business skills.
- Entrepreneur Mentorship
Bridging The Gap Between Ambition and Achievement
The Entrepreneur Mentorship program is a one year program that provides personalised and dedicated guidance, industry insights, and expert support to enable entrepreneurs to stand on their own. Our faculty is a network of seasoned entrepreneurs, industry experts, and business leaders.
This initiative mitigates the risk of business failure and supports knowledge transfer by helping mentees refine their business models and sharpen their strategies.
Through mentor-mentee relationships, we bridge the gap between ambition and achievement, assisting entrepreneurs to scale and build investment-ready ventures. Also, in collaboration with corporate partners, the program facilitates entrepreneur internship opportunities, providing entrepreneurs with experience in real business settings. The entrepreneur internships offer a safe environment to learn foundational business principles while contributing to growth within the organization.
- Read & Earn Challenge
Empowering Entrepreneurs Through Knowledge
The Read & Earn Challenge is designed to ignite intellectual curiosity and promote lifelong learning. Books are positioned as tools for innovation and entrepreneurial pursuit.
The goal is to incentivise reading; participants earn points for reading and motivating peers to participate. Use earned points to pay for purchases at KEF partnering stores.
Through reading and sharing, entrepreneurs are encouraged to grow individually and collectively to inspire innovation.

Igniting Action
The entrepreneurship events are designed to create dynamic spaces where ideas, innovation, and ambition converge. These events bring together thought leaders, investors and change makers, serving as strategic touch-points for entrepreneurs to gain insights, build networks and showcase their business.
From expert-led panels and interactive workshops to pitch sessions, networking, product exhibitions and motivational speeches, each part is curated to inspire action, collaboration, and drive impact. The program goal is to open business opportunities and engagements, supporting entrepreneurs in building impactful businesses.

Spaces That Inspire Innovation & Community
The program will establish entrepreneurship hubs in strategic locations. These hubs serve as a community where entrepreneurs can access the resources, networks, and environments needed to build and scale businesses.
The hubs will provide entrepreneurs with cutting-edge tech support to streamline operations and accelerate growth.
We are a nonprofit helping enterpreneurs turn ideas into profitable ventures.
