Uzo Egwerome
Founder, CEO
As founder / CEO of the Kome Egwerome Foundation- KEF, Uzo drives the foundation’s mission. The right team and partners are key to an endeavour of this magnitude; Thus, he brings his passion for service to humanity building viable partnerships and ensuring that the foundation's goals are achieved.
Having a mother who is a retired schoolteacher, principal, education inspector, and entrepreneur, imparted a passion in him to tackle the most important problems in the world like youth poverty, unemployment, underemployment, and hunger.
Uzo began his journey as a business development professional in the banking industry to gain experience and hands-on skills, working in the commercial, private and corporate sectors of the following banks: First Bank of Nigeria, Access Bank Plc and SunTrust Bank.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specialization in entrepreneurship from Hult International Business School, USA.
Uzo enjoys working with youths and young entrepreneurs, he is a volunteer business mentor at Futurpreneur Canada Inc.
